Samsung UE32C5100 LED don't power on (but standby led ok)

    Hello

    I have a led tv samsung UE32C5100.

After repairing at the primary section of the power supply BN44-00351b which a diode and the mosfet are faulty . The tv refurbished a day.

Then the second day I tried to start the TV after several attempts (unplug reconnect ac cable) she started once or twice. Then nothing else she does not want to start any more. Some day the tv work correcty some day the tv can't power on. It's random

When don't power , After checking the voltages of the cards, I noticed when we try to turn the tv that the voltage of the primary PFC goes up to 380V and then drops back to 340V. once dropped back to 380v. It makes these cycle rise descent in permance.

When it reaches 380V we hear a whistle sound at the coil next to the backlight connector. The backlight voltage goes up to 99V when the PFC voltage is 380v then drops back to 52v when PFC is 340V.

The 5v STB voltage is always present. The 12v voltage goes from 15.3v to 12.6v when PFC respectively from 340v to 380V

The voltage 5.3v goes from 0v to 5.2v when PFC respectively from 340v to 380V

I tried to disconnected the connector of the mainboard and I shunt the PWON to 5VSTB the backlight is on and the voltages are OK, we find (5v, 5VSTB, 12v, 198V)

According to the info on the power supply board, the voltage D5.3V - 2.3A, D12V - 1.4A and the backlight voltage 188.5v - 0.24A. I think that when the motherboard is connected to the power supply, the motherboard tries to pump more energy on the capacitor of the primary because the voltages D12v and D5.3v pump a lot of ampere, that's why the PFC voltage drops from 380V to 320V which prevents the TV from power on.

Are the capacitors of primary faulty? What do you think of my interpretation otherwise would you have another idea?

    thx

Re: Samsung UE32C5100 LED don't power on (but standby led ok)

I tried to change primary capacitor and no change.

I pressed power button on remote control, and after some minutes or hour the TV turned on.

I tried to heat the mainboard with hair heater and the tv powered.

Which componant can have the problem?

Zombie Samsung UN55NU6900F dead / no standby voltage - randomly came to life after hours of troubleshooting then died
      by tvguy12012012120
This is my first attempt at troubleshooting a board like this, I know I could just buy a new board but I'm curious to figure out how this works. I've been testing different components in the evenings this week and I think the problem is with the IC failing to start up for some reason. When the board is plugged in there is no standby voltage.

Then today it randomly sprung to life like a zombie but shortly died thereafter. I have no idea why it would have done that and its the first time I've seen it running. I discharged capacitors on the board last night, then it was sitting today....

LED TV Samsung The Frame 55 inch QE55LS03RAU Standby Light only
      by ChristianBr01
      Hello everyone,
I got a Samsung The Frame 55 inch TV for free from uncle cause it is not turning on anymore. I am in the second year of training as an electrician so I have knowledge already but I am far away from to be a pro.
The TV has Standby but ist not turning on. A Friend of mine owns a 50 inch Frame TV so I checked the One Connect Box and the One Connect Cable there. Both are good and working normally. I have opened the TV case and measured some voltages on the Board.
What I already found is that the 12.8V are not an the connector to the main board connector to the power...

Samsung QLED QE65Q7FNAT only standby light

      TV: Samsung QLED QE65Q7FNAT
      PSU: BN4400940A
      MB: BN94-12832K

I got the tv in spring 2024. At that time it started, then ran 60 sec and poweroff. Seemed like reboot issue. I didn't have time and room to check it in summer so I plugged it in and now the standby light is on. I press button on remote, standby light goes off and tries to start?. No picture or backlight on LCD. I thought about removing diodes like in this thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...sung-qled-q60r...
