This Samsung LE26A457C1D (LE26A457C1DXXC) 26" TV has no signals of life. It happened suddenly, no previous warnings.
It has a Dongyang MK32P5B PSU (Samsung part BN44-00214A). There're no 5V standby, but there're 315V in main cap.
Nothing visually ugly on either side of PSU PCB. It has some components attached with yellow glue of death, but in this case it hasn't go bad... yet. After searching this forum for common failures in these PSU's, I decide to take preventive measures removing glue in 3 spots: around QB802 (Fairchild KSD526-Y) and ressolder it because it's a common fault; around CM810 and the two HV+ jumpers; around the two KEC KIA431A shunt regulators. It's hard to remove, because it isn't burnt and brown yet.
Test again and no luck. Check schematics and check ICB801S (SanKen STR-A6159 standby regulator) startup voltage. Nothing at pin 5! RB806 is open and it's visually fine! Should be 100kΩ 2W. Replace it and it's fixed.
