My VIZIO P50HDM has no picture, no sound, other than a few relay clicks from the power supply board when I power it up. I've just removed the panel off the back to begin troubleshooting.

Re: Troubleshooting Plasma
You have started 2 posts about the same set and problem by the look of it. Suggest you do the required voltage and other checks, take good clear pics of whole set rear and boards when undone, then post again with make and model plus problem (no start - clicking) in the heading and description of problem with voltages etc in body of post and you may then get the assistance and advice you need. When working on opened set at all times be aware if power on or off at the set and don't poke fingers or metal items onto power board until powered off for at least 5 minutes. -

by HarleyFoolI have a Samsung 60-inch plasma TV, model PN60E550D1FXZA with factory remote. When cold, the TV will turn on and operate normally. After operating for longer than 30-60 minutes, if the set is turned OFF and then back ON, it will turn back ON, but there is no picture (screen remains black). I can confirm set is ON because I can hear audio from the speakers when I operate the VOLUME UP/DOWN control on the remote. If I allow the TV to rest (cool), it will eventually turn back ON with picture restored. That may take an hour or overnight.
I have removed the back of the TV and looked...12-21-2021, 02:40 PM -
by RensieeHello,
I have been reading a few threads on here regarding Panasonic plasma tv's. I've found one thread which explains the same problem as mine, unfortunately the thread has not been completed.
I got a free tv (TH-50PX8EA) from a friend which shows no screen. When plugged in only one red light shows up and when pushing the ON button, the red LED turns of and will only turn on again when pressing the ON button again.
When plugging in the TV i hear two relays click fast and after a few seconds the third relay clicks.
I have measured the voltage in the VSUS line, which...06-18-2024, 12:58 PM -
by blues_spiritHello from France,
mon2 kindly advised me to post a thread to ask the question(s) I'm concerned about. I'm new to the forum and I'm looking for practical courses for troubleshooting pc motherboards especially laptops in Europe, if possible in France. I have been a computer network system administrator and a corrector of administration modules for automated programs under Unix. But I really miss the practical "ops" side of troubleshooting. So I would like to start from the beginning: 1.8V, 3.3V, 5V and 19V tests for example, etc...
Do you think this is feasible for me? I... -
by brassicGamerHi folks. This panel seems to be a 'favourite' on these forums. I've checked through all the existing posts and my issue doesn't match up with the common faults described. I think it might be the logic board.
I acquired it second-hand recently and the previous owner described the panel working fine until a power cut, when it only turned back on briefly. The apparent issue was that, when powered on, the TV would display the manufacturer logo and then go into standby mode. I figured this was the main board shutting it down after a test condition failed.
