I've got this PS42C450B1W here. I plug it in and it powers on with the chime and I hear the sounds of whatever is coming through HDMI.
The TV responds to the touch controls and I can turn it on and off no problems just no panel glow or picture.
I've read through the other threads on here but they tend to suggest if there is a short the TV goes into protect mode and won't come out of standby but I don't have that issue. I have checked the X and Y and buffers for shorts but haven't found any.
The light on the control board gives a steady long single flash but there is no PS-ON or VS-ON voltages. 15v I measure 14.5v and 5.3v i measure as 5.25v
On turn on I measure VS as 212v as it should be but it falls away a couple of seconds after.
Should I be looking again for shorts on the X or Y or is this something else ?
