Samsung LN52

Does this look like T-Con? I cleaned all ribbons and sockets. No evidence of dirt, foreign material, or damage to ribbons. Previously no picture..heated video chip with hot air station. Now I have video and audio but this yellow bar on the far right comes and goes..is visible more than not. I would think if it were the panel, it would not come and go.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Could be an intermittent Tab Bond issue or Main Bd. Was that the BGA chip you heated?

Had main board checked by PTS Electronics..gave it a software update. Yes, I did heat the BGA chip with the large heat sink on the t-con. I have another t-con that is supposed to interchange..I get no video or audio with it, and I do not get the vertical bars with it..

Also, when I unplug far right ribbon I lose half of the screen and do not have the bar..if it was tab bond, wouldn't I still have the bar with it disconnected? Maybe try reheating BGA Chip?

Seems like a bad T-CON Bd then. Just verify the cables are seated properly when switching between T-CONs.

It was the way the T-con Ribbon was seated in the socket on the board.
