    Samsung UE32EH5000

got this tv last week, as not working, thats all i was told, anyway, pluged it in today to see what the problem is, and it is working apart from the backlights (LED's).
tv turns on with pic on screen with flash light, so only backlight problem,
    no brief flash at all.
power board BN44-00493B, only getting 3 volts from the board to the LED plug.
all led's test ok, but only just glowing with 3volts on each, so must use much more voltage when running,
think i'll get a board of ebay, and do it the easy way, lol, have'nt realy got the time to mess about with this one unless someone has had the same prob with same model,

Ok . So if you disconnect the cable from PSU to Main Bd and plug it into the ac do you get the backlights coming in bright and normal?

The set looks as though it has 4 strips of 10 leds and the circuit board says 140V @250mA so I suspect they are 3V leds all wired in series.
Willing to help but I'm no expert.

correct my friend, maybe my batterys are a bit flat, hence the dim glow, but they all light, so its got to be a power board problem,
im going to strip it down again later if i get an hour or so.
but any ideas will be looked at

Problem solved, 3rd picture shows 2 caps, one looks good, but the other looks kind of ok,
its still flat on top but looks bowed, took it out of circuit to test, and its shit, replaced with another 47uf 200v and bingo, tv now up and running,
