Samsung UN46H5203AFXA - Westinghouse W3213HD
Hello everyone. i have a bit of a project on my hands here and I can use all the help I can get. The Samsung that I have has a broken screen but everything else works fine, found it on a tree lawn, hehe. The Westinghouse which still works just fine and has been with me for the better part of a decade. My goal here is to find a way to successfully convert the Westinghouse into a smart tv with the guts of the Samsung. I have already spent 12+ hours researching the different components in both of them and I am determined to get it to work. Unfortunately I am aware that this is definitely going to need plenty of modification, but I am looking forward to the challenge. I am not sure on how you would rate my skills with component level work, seeing as how I am not a professional in this area, more of a hobby. Unrelated to this subject, I am also in the process of building my own receiver/amplifier. Any and all advice and/or brainstorming is greatly appreciated. Thank you much[insert exclamation point]
