    samsung ua40d6600

    Hi all

I am new to this forum, I have a lcd led tv I am trying to repair for a friend. so the problem was it had a few lines running vertically down the left hand side of the screen. so my initial thought was lose ribbon cable from t-con to buffer board so unplugged them and reseated them, but still it didnt fix the problem so I removed the lvds cable from the t-con board and reseated it now I have no picture or sound. and no image during torch test. is there any voltages I can check on the t-con. thanks in advance.

Yes, there should be at least one fuse near where the lvds cable connects to the tcon. Check both sides for voltage.
If you are getting voltages, try disconnecting the ribbon cable that goes from the tcon to the narrow board that connects to the LCD screen that corresponds where the lines were. Then try powering the TV on.

thanks for the fast response. I check the fuse which has 12.8 volts both sides, I also unplugged the right hand ribbon cable and got no change I have attached a picture of the board and circled the fuse I checked. I also have voltages on both these coils the large one 12.8 volts and the small one 3.3 volts anything below these components I can find any voltages.
