    Sceptre X32 Video Flashing

I have yet another x32 with video flashing and and gone through the post here https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showth...ht=sceptre+x32 and came up with the same or close readings. At the end it was never said if the TV was fixed or not and what fixed it. I have the exact same issue and was hoping for some input on what to do next other than toss the tv. Here is a video of the problem. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_P...ew?usp=sharing

Is the supply to the inverter board stable. Is there a Backlight Error return and what voltage is on it when working and when turning off.

It may be worth checking the capacitors on the power supply that are on the 24V line. Someone else reckons they cured a similar fault but different make of set after replacing them.

Well they did look good and tried the hair dryer trick with no joy.

Anybody else run across this before?

Looks like I am unable to edit my post above for some reason. I found another power board in my parts collection so this one is repaired and back to the client.

It's a pity you didn't have a chance to compare both psu's to see what the difference was. However as you say it's up and running and that's what counts.
