    No, just installed one today. Either i have a bad y buffer or a bad logic. Cant determine which at this time.

        ok, back to diag. The tv powers on. Screen flashes and then the unit starts to power down. The Y-buffer does not seem to be shorted, that i can test. The logic and y-sus has been changed with no difference. All voltages check fine according to the sticker on the panel. What next?

            For fun I changed the Y buffer again. The tv now has a picture. I rechecked the y-buffer and could not find a short or any fault in the buffer.
