Your suggestion is a very good idea. I want to try it, I have the Olimex-ARM-USB programmer compatible with openOCD. I hope this device will support the processor. If it is not, which programmer do you use for this job ?

May I ask you where did you get this firmware ?

Since I don't understand yet how the processor works, does the firmware include the bootloader and everything needed ? If so, what is the starting address ?

You can use: ProMan, TNM2000+, TNM5000, Wellon VP-996, BeeProg2C...for nand flash memory H27U1G8F2B with a TSOP48 to DIP48 adapter.
The firmware include the bootloader and everything needed...this firmware he is extracted from a functional Sony KDL-32BX300 with TNM5000 programmer in 2013.

I am unsure if the chip is the same. I guess it wont make any change. I don't have a NAND programmer. I will seek for one.

Only to let you know, I did not manage to use the jtag or reprogram the NAND.

Instead, I have had a chat with Sony. They told me to get an evaluation and then they will help me with the repair. I have got the evaluation, the board "A" is dead. the replacement is 190$ cdn + 60$ of work.
