Hello,
I had a 40" Samsung smart tv (UA40F5300ARXEG) for about 4 year , and the lcd panel is recently broken.
I ordered a new 48" (Not smart tv) from Samsung (UA48H5100ARXEG) , and I'm thinking of good ways to recycle my old smart tv , I came across some idea this morning but I don't know will it work or not , and can I try it without braking my new tv ?
I'm thinking of replacing my new tv mainborad with the old smart mainboard , maybe also the power supply after checking the pinout for both boards..
My question is about the t-com board , How likely both boards will have the same pinout and will the smart mainboard run the new tv t-con board, also if the pinout is not the same , and I tried to switch the mainboard and turn the tv on will that brake my new tv t-con board or lcd drivers ?
