Samsung LE32M86BD - no display

Got this in a from a friend who wants to have a go at repairing

Samung LE32M86BD - TV 6 flashes of LED then fires up - backlights all come on but no display (not sure about sound as don't have display to check the what source its on)

Any pointers?

Plug something into the SCART 1 connector. DVD player, SKY box. Then switch on the player or box and the TV should automatically switch over to SCART input. You can then check if sound, volume +/- works.
