    Lg 50pc5d no video.

I bought this tv for $25. Previous owner said he heard a pop and the picture went out.
I got it home and it wouldn't power on. Took the back off an saw a few bulging/leaking caps. I had a forum member replace the bad caps, the tv turns on now, I get static sound but no picture.
There is no osd, nothing. I can mute the static, turn it up and down.
When I change the channel the static responds as if it was changing.

Here is a video of the screen when it's on. http://sendvid.com/0p8mvz7p

    Title mistake. It's a 50pc3d.

Check fuses on Y and Zsus probably shorted IPM if any fuses blown module on one of them. Also the fan only comes on after the Tv heats up alittle.

Fuses ok on the Ysus. I don't see any on the Zsus
Here is the back of the Ysus.

Integrated Power Module. Two, under the large heatsinks.

The black heatsinks? How do I test them? Are they hard to replace?

Very difficult to replace without the correct tools. Desoldering gun, high powered soldering iron.

Fixed the TV by replacing the Ysus board for $60. Thanks for the help.
