so I purchased this tv as a repair project and what I found was shorted igbt's on the xsus board...chose to replace xsus board and have some success as the tv powers up fine and all functions appear to work...problem is that the igbt's are overheating and I'm quite sure that if left powered that these igbt's would also go...am hoping someone else might have dealt with this issue and can offer some insight...cheers

update with pics...so thought I would check voltages VE and VSC...found ve to be 134v should be 98v...don't see a test point so measured ve at cable leaving xsus and feeding ysus board...posted a pic of a pot next to a VE printed on the board...this pot had little to no affect on ve of 134v....vsc should be -198 I was not able to find a point to measure this so if anyone could help I would love to get this beast going...thanksAttached FilesLast edited by terryb5; 12-02-2015, 04:09 PM.Comment
