    Westinghouse LD-4680 - Video resets periodically

    Hello. I picked up a Westinghouse LD-4680. When I turn it on, I get full picutre etc. After a period of time, the entire screen will go cut out and come back on. almost like I just turned the TV back on. It starts with the HDMI inout box in the upper right and then the picture reappears. I am aware of the cable issue with this model, but this problem seems different as the entire screen works. It just cuts out..

    Has anyone else encountered this problem?

      Ok, so I know I know, it's a Westinghouse....lol It's got the backlights but no video. Likely the panel, but I'd like to take some measurements on the buffer board with help from you experts to confirm. See the attached pictures. In pic #1, there's a nice pin reference to use to take some measurements. The large IC in pic #7 gets up to 60degC when the TV is on.

      So, backlights, no video, go! 🙂...

      This is from my son’s gaming computer that at first had minor overheating issues when playing a very intense game with it causing the computer to crash or reboot
