Picked up off the street. Noticed pry marks around the snaps. Currently, there isn't any reaction when I hit the power button.
Also noticed someone decided to replace only the 1000uF capacitors with cheap replacements and used the 35V caps for all four. IIRC, there are two which only need 25V.
This person didn't replace every C(r)apXon capacitor.
I plan to do that. I did notice the capacitors have different specs compared to the list of replacements in popular repair kits. I remember seeing a 4.7uF capacitor and two 33uF capacitors.
I vaguely remember seeing "Q11" but don't know if I need to replace that, too. I honesty am not familiar with the Q11 part.
I see the two 33uF capacitors are also attached to a ... daughterboard? Backplane? Backplate? I'm not familiar with this board, either.
I will test the individual transformers, too. What else should I test and examine?
