Hi, I have a Sony KDL-32S2010 which seems to be switching the display off after about 5-10 seconds, the power led remains green and constant the entire time. The screen doesn't stay on long enough to do much but I can see it display information such as AV1 and I can bring the menu's up before I hear an internal click and the screen goes black, after a few seconds the displays available again but it keeps cycling in this manner.
I know it's not likely to be the PSU (APS-220 1-869-132-12) simply because I've already tried replacing it with a known working replacement and get exactly the same result.
I'm beginning to wonder if it could be something to do with the T-CON Board 320WSC4LV1.1 but I'm really just guessing, it's been a long long time since I did any fault finding of this nature and I don't have the equipment to do any testing which you can't use a multimeter for. All I can really tell you is that the fuse on the T-CON board hasn't blown as I've done a continuity test on it. I did some quick readings on the SMC capacitors and one of them (I think its C378 is registering about 96 ohms which seemed a little odd to me as all the others are much higher.
Does anyone have some ideas of where I should be turning my attention? I'm only trying to fix this for my own amusement and I can obtain a replacement board for little cost but don't want to start throwing money at buying multiple boards until I get the right one.
Many thanks
