I have a question, I have a Samsung 51" plasma, buffer board had an IC that had a few pins that shorted.
Replaced it, when I power up set, I see the screen light for a second, then the power supply is forced off by the control board.
Checked Y sus and Z sus, no shorted diodes or FETs.
Anyone have any ideas. It was a used buffer board from shopjimmy, and there is no shorts detected between the power and panel connectors unlike the original board.
Original symptom was similar, except there were some bright horizontal lines at the bottom for a fraction of a second until it shut down.
