Toshiba 42hp83 Black pixels after it warms up, plasmsa is old?

Ive got a old Toshiba 42hp83, when you first turn it on the picture looks great. After about 20 minutes or so it starts to "pixelate" There will partial black pictures where an object was on the screen previously but goes away when the picture or scene in the movie changes.

Before I tore this tv apart to start testing I was curious if any one knows if perhaps the lifespan of the plasma in the tv has reached its end. Ive never seen a plasma wear out before or come across it.

If you turn the tv off and then back on real quick it seems to correct itself for a little bit.

If its not just age, then what could be the culprit of the problem? I know thats a question with a huge array of answers but perhaps somebody knows where I should start on it, if I should start on it( because of the age of the plasma )

    Thanks yall.

Was hoping for some feed back. I took the back off of the tv and didnt experience any pixelation, put the back, back on the tv and noticed pixelation after approx. 20 minutes. So I am thinking heat or proper ventilation is an issue. Please anybody correct me if I am wrong in thinking this.

    Thanks, Corey.
