LG 60PY2R Plasma top half ghosting.

Hi. I have the above model and lately the top half of the screen has been ghosting/flickering. When it is cold it is worse, and top and bottom of screen look bad (see photos). I took the back panel off and by using a hair dryer I traced the fault to a part of the Ysus board. When I use the hairdrier on a section of the ysus board near the voltage regulator with heatsink shown in the center in the (heated area picture), the picture is perfect and gradually gets worse as it cools down. I have replaced 2 smd caps in the area and also the voltage regulator, but it is no different. I thought it would have been a dry joint but I have soldered around the whole area but no joy. Could a bad capacitor cause this fault?
I am hoping for some help on this please as I am at a loss.
All pictures attached are upside down, if any more upside down ones are needed let me know.

Sounds like your on the right track and have found the root of the issue, how cost effective would it be to just replace the board rather then chase components??

I cannot seem to find a replacement board for it, so I have to try and sort this out.
