    Sanyo DP50747 another no video

Searched through the past threads but could not find a thread with problems like I have.

TV powers on, can hear static, volume goes up & down, NO picture.

Pulled back off to test PSU. All DC voltages in spec according to legends on board.

Now it gets interesting, with YSUS & ZSUS cables unplugged from PSU when powered on VS voltage is 456v. VA is 137v. No blinking led on PSU board while powered on.

Should have 205v on VS and 63v on VA. No visible damage to any components, no bulging/leaking caps.
VS and VA adjustments do nothing to change volts. PSU p/n is LJ44-00132a.

Has anyone had a similar problem??

Make sure you check Vs/Va on DC volts and that your meter batteriesare OK.

Forgot that VA & VS are DC also, meter batteries OK. Will retest again tomorrow it's at work. Thank's Tom.

Retested voltages, all are within specs and stable. Now have static picture with menu showing, BUT this happens when it's turned on from cold.

        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lQa_...ature=youtu.be

When first turned on from overnight the "curtain of black" covers entire screen then slowly fades and static appears. In the video you can see what's left of it at the top. It eventually disappears completely as it warms up.

Anyone know what causes this? Is panel old and worn out? Thanks.
