Doesn't matter how similar it LOOKS, if it is set up for a different panel...
It may not be something that can be changed. On some Samsung panels it can be changed. On others it cannot.

From the seller yes, compare that to yours. Usually if t-cons match it will be ok, as well.

Think this is the correct one, will call the seller tommorow.

Says its this BN41-00813B-MP1.0 for LE40M87BDX

Then further down the page its says BN41-00813E-MP1.0.

It looks the same, all connect ports look in the same spot.

Thanx Tom66 for your input, replaced the AV mainboard today, so far aint heard nothing back from the person.

Had a little scare at first, plugged in the AV board connected it up, it was saying no input signal, & something about HDMI STB. Thought the AV board was faulty.

Did a reset and all come good
