Samsung PN51D550C1F died, won't turn on, clicking

Hi. My TV died right before my eyes. Just went black, flashing power light at front twice in a row constantly. Won't turn on at all.

When tries to power up, it clicks five times, then stops trying.

I am new to this, so please bear with me

The vs-tp with y main unhooked is about 115 when multimeter is set to 500 DCV
The va-tp with y main unhooked is about 35. Both of these decrease after initial plug in.

Values are the same when x main is unplugged.

Thanks for any assistance that you can render. Build was apparently Nov 2011. It has been ok till now, had to do some adjustment back in winter to get rid of purple banding that was occuring.

Can you confirm if the screen flashes briefly when it tries to turn on?

No sir, I haven't seen that behavior. It simply seems to just click and then the front power light constantly does a double pulse. Thanks.

OK, can you provide some pictures of the power supply board, the Y-main board, and the X-main board?

Power supply board - AC power connects to this
Y-main board - On the left hand side of the TV looking from the rear
X-main board - On the right hand side of the TV looking from the rear

OK there is a test point on the Y-main marked VSCAN... can you measure the voltage on this point (highest DC range or auto-ranging DC volts) using a digital multimeter. Place red probe on the point and black on the chassis. Note if it changes while powering up/clicking.

I have no movement whatsoever. The needle is still at 500DCV.

Can you remove the Y-buffer board (connected to the Y-main) and see if the voltage on VSCAN rises

I get no movement on vscan at 500 dcv. There MIGHT be a slight movement, but it might be from vibration...

I'm guessing you are using an analog meter, is it possible you could borrow a digital one to confirm?

I don't know of anyone...I am certain now that I have redone it that there is no movement on the 500 dcv. I think it was me moving.

ok. so then i should order one seems like shopjimmy is out of stock...can you recommend another source at all? I really appreciate all of your help.

My part says revision number 1.5 Would the exact part with a 1.4 revision work?

As well, on the UPC bar code, it says 764D. Does it have to have this exact same number, or would a 764A or 764B work?
