    Samsung UE50AU8072 all time rebooting, backlight ok. Maybe mainboard faulty?

    The motherboard initially receives voltage for VGH, but it constantly reboots. When I remove the flex cable at the bottom, I hear normal sound, but there is no image on the screen and it is black on both sides. This time there is no voltage on VGH.

      This is Samsungs method of telling you the panel has shorted. Replacing anything won't fix it.

      Google fixing TV with tape, or if you are lucky check the buffer boards for shorted caps

          Hi all.

          I'm trying to fix my Samsung QE50Q60TA TV.
          IT's rebooting every few seconds.
          I have done some tests and it looks like it stops rebooting when I tape pin 46 (I thinks it's FB_1) on the ribbon tape that connects two boards atteched to screen, but nothing is visible, just backlight is solid and I can hear sound. Taping over other pins doesn't work.
          Have also soldered two pins on the motherboard to check if I can get an image on the rights side of the tv, but it keeps rebooting.
          Can anyone suggest what I can test and do to get it working again please?...

          Hello,

          I have a Samsung DM32D display.
          When I try to power it on, the red LED blinks 5 times and nothing happens—the unit won’t start.

          Here’s what I have tried so far:
          1. Disconnected the cable between the mainboard and the power supply → the backlight turns on.
          2. Disconnected the main T-CON ribbon cable → same issue as before, the LED still blinks 5 times.
          3. Disconnected one of the two T-CON ribbons to the panel (tested each one separately) → same issue, the LED blinks 5 times.

          From these tests, I suspect the problem might be on the mainboard. Could anyone...

          Hi everybody.So i sent this tv : samsung le32b450

          Issue : itermittent black screen that comes back for a few minutes then turns back off
          Sound : OK
          no vertical lines when ON , normal picture .
          Changed power supply with new one and the fault was gone , he said it was faulty power management IC.

          No i want to know if it is from power management IC only or inverter transformers also gone bad ?

          I need to know so i can repair my current one !...
