LG 42PC1DV-EC Fuzzy display and black "ink"

My neighbour has given me his TV to have a look at. When he turned it on he saw very similar pictures to what I have posted. I can only describe the problem as a fuzzy picture like bad reception from an anologue aerial accompanied by black "ink spills" that dry up fairly quickly as the tv warms up, but they dont dry up completely.
I'd be very appreciative if someone could guide me on what the problem could be with this LG 42PC1DV-EC

    Many Thanks

    Any ideas anyone?
Is it worth me buying an IPM for the Ysus or reflowing the inductors?

Ok, i've taken the back off taken a few pics and tested the fuses. I have found a blown fuse on the Zsus and marked it(removed) in the pic.
Can I now safely assume the IPM on the Zsus needs replacing?
Can I replace the original blown fuse(T4AH250VP) with an equivalent 4A Time Delay glass fuse from maplin?

      Thanks for any help

You will need to replace the Z-sustain IPM & fuse.

Agreed. Z sustain (X main) has failed.
