As a first step check, i would suggest to open the case, re-seat all the flat cables, and look for any exploded caps or burnt components. Try to avoid messing with the fragile flat panel too much to avoid damaging something else there.
Good luck!Comment

Yes i can turn it on via remote control with evdd unplugged. 3 blinks then 3 seconds shuts off. Then turn it back on same process, even the evdd socket connected. That is only the cycle that is why i can report the optical is lit. Im guessing it went to protect mode.Comment

try first the lower LVDS cable only between MB and T-CON unplugged it ( the lower only not the top one.. other sockets should be in place ) turn on and check the optical if always onComment

if it does. then try unplug wifi / BT speaker to reduce load on MB. if the issue remain need to inspect the MB
edit: you need to have service remote to send power_only and in_stop in case there are issue at MB, some time MICOM SW play in wrong wayLast edited by Diah; 10-30-2024, 02:34 AM.Comment

by RauniHello, this is my first post on this forum, and my first attempted to repair a TV.
My Philips 58PUS7805/12 stopped working recently. It is not that old, about 5 years. We were on a trip for a few days and when we came back, it had stopped working out of a blue (Perhaps our house was hit by a lightning strike? Don't know.)
Read from a guide that I should test if the screen shows picture with one of the T-Con cables disconnected. Did that, it showed perfect picture (first on left, later on right side).
Read also that we should test what happens if we... -
by riparoHi everyone, I have a Panasonic OLED TV model 55EZ950E, as soon as I turn it on I don't have any image the LED goes from green to red LED blinking every 4 sec, I found the service manual suggests checking OLED PANEL, PB BOARD, T-CON connectors but it seems like everything ok, I didn't find any burns under the pb board
I attach a link to download the service manual, thank you for anyone who can help me

by JJAAMMThis was my main TV for the last 6 years. I'm not inclined to throw out a $2600 TV so quickly so I'm trying to investigate the issue.
Problem
TV was disconnected from power for 6 months during construction. When I plugged it yesterday picture was fine, after 30 seconds it dimmed then started developing horizontal lines, picture then starts to ghost vertically until it degrades into vertical streaks. TV always displays a perfect picture when cold. I can unplug TV for 5 minutes and plug it back in and picture is restored for 20 seconds. I can also keep it in standby mode... -
by BloopetaHave an LG Oled 55EC930V, that was told had sound but no picture. When I have tried to turn it on, there is click from powerboard, and LG Logo illuminates, but then fades out and there is a second click from power board.
I have tested the voltages on the power cable to the mainboard, and all is ok, and also the voltages on power cable to the Tcon, and all read ok.
I know absolutely nothing about Oled's, or where to begin, I have never even seen one before now lol, so any help grately appreciated.... -
by TofHello everyone, here is the issue I am facing with my Panasonic Oled TX-65FZ800e.
When the TV has not be used for some hours, I power up the TV with a video input and the image is displayed perfectly for 30seconds and then the TV switch off with the red light blinking every 4 seconds for ever.
The service manual explanation: EVDD_SOS (EVDD 24V error) with check point (oled panel, P board, A board, T-CON)
I opened it and found a burned connector on PB-board on the 24V pins.
The 24V wires have change a bit of color due to the overheat and the corresponding... - Loading...
