Samsung PSU BN44-00161a Repair

Repaired a few of these in the past normally by replacing QX801 ans QX802 and associated smd components underneath board. This ones not quite so easy though. Found again that QX801 and QX802 had gone s/c so replaced them along with the usual smd components but also found that QQ802 had gone s/c so it was replaced and as a precaution fitted the repair kit for sub board2.
Power supply still not working and clicking every 4 seconds or so. Nothing to do with ysus or xsus tripping it out as tried with just the main board and control board connected. Have tested many components to trying to locate this fault but all found ok. Any ideas??

Hello

I have the same PSU like yours but mine is totally dead. This is the second one as the first one I managed to fix it and afterwards I've shorted and is gone now.
Double check the Mosfets from the heat sink and the diodes SMD from the board. There are few dead on the other side and also the SUB1 and SUB2. On SUB 1 you have a chip and 4 transistors and a diode and this should be replaced. Let me know if you done something. Good luck
