Hitachi L40C205 does it look like bad panel?

There has been some other threads about this model but I never saw a resolution. This TV is apparently manufactured by Hisense.

When first turned on from cold it's solid red below the thin blue horizontal line. Then as you can see in the series of pics it starts going black. The "No Signal" creates somewhat of a red trail behind it as it travels around the screen.

Oh the owner said that this happened all of a sudden.

Yeah in my opinion that probably is due to the split in the panel where the problem begins occurring, it is almost certainly bad panel.

Hi i have the same problem but only in blue color but no vertical line can be that the panel is bad????
