    Samsung PN60E8000GFXZA works for few minutes

    The 60"set cost 2800 14 months ago. Plays fine for just a few minutes. Tried jumping SMPS and T-Con as per fast track guide but PS just clicks a few times and stop. When connected to MB, when it works the voltages are fine. Vs219, Va55 and picture is great.
    I guess the power supply is bad. BN44-00514A. The Y and X boards were not shorted.

    Problem was a cracked solder joint Q5802 FDPF12N50T on PS. BN44-00514A. I worked fine from April 2015 until beginning of June. I had been busy and found out today that I forgot to post the fix. The set came back last week. I had 5vdc standby, the PS-on was 3.3vdc. I replace FDPF1250T I get 205 on VS. I find it cycles on off No shorts on X or Y boards. What I find now is the PS-On is cycling on off.

      so was replacing the FDPF1250T the repair needed?
