Hi, I got this Samsung LE32A457C1D. it comes on for a few mins then go's off.
PSU Number is bn44-00214a. All electrolytic caps have low esr. IVE CHECKED MOST of the fets except the 4 at the lower left hand of pic as I cant see the part numbers, if anyone got a schematic id by greatful. the voltages are all there during the few mins of on time. Any idea's please.

Check READY option in service menu. It can sometimes cause random reboots.

Try turning it ON, then see if unit still reboots.

Wouldn't expect that to do much - I've no idea who highlighted it, probably from the internal engineering discussions about "how can we save a penny here"!

ok, when its cold it will turn on and stay on but after you turn it off it wont start back up till its cold. I'm stumped.

Im only getting 5.2v st.by pin3 and 3.3v on pin 1 of the CNM802 plug, and the 24v detect at pin5 of CNM801 im only getting 4v whitch says 5v on the silkscreen. Stuck in standby now.

This PSU is different to normal SAMSUNG. A logic HIGH at Pin 1 should cause P/S outputs to be active.

Check following voltages (all measurements ACROSS component, all on primary side of PSU):
                        - CB806 50V/47uF
                        - CP811 50V/47uF
                        - CP803 450V/150uF (The 450V cap)

It came on first thing this morning.
                            CB806 was 23.8v, CP811 was 12.3v, CP803 was 383v.
I turned it off after a while after that it was stuck in standby. Two long red led flashes followed by 4 short flashes.
I measured the cap in this state and are as followers:
                            CB806 was 33.5v, CP811 was 0v, CP803 was 336v.

Check pin 1 when stuck in standby...

Also check voltage across primary and secondary side of PC802S optocoupler.

                                QB802S might be bad.

Check QB802 solder joints. In fact hit them with an iron even if they look good.

Just fixed an LN32A450 with a BN44-00214A yesterday. Found the tip in a thread here after searching the board number.

Yeah that could explain his results.

                                      Re: Samsung LE32A457C1D

It's turning on and off ok now, I will solder those joints.
The voltage across the pc802s opto while working is 0.2v hot side and 1.16v cold side.
I've been waiting for it to get stuck on stand by to get the other voltages but its coming on now even when warmed up.

It's working now, for how long I don't know as I didn't find an actual fault. I resolded those joints on QB802 just to make sure, but it seems to be one of those self fixing tvs lol. fingers crossed.
