SAMSUNG PS42C430A1 clicking on turn on

    hello everybody.

i have the Samsung PS42C430A1 Plasma display.
one month ago it just went dead on me,
and since then when turning on the device there is a clicking noise, like
a switch on and off, it last about 10 seconds while the TV led is also blinking.
after that there is no reaction.

i searched the mighty internet and found out about the bad capacitors issue.
so i opened my TV up and checked for blown capacitors or anything unregular, all the capacitors looks fresh new, non is blown or leaking.
someone gave me an advise that even good looking capacitors can be faulty.

my first step was to order a power supply unit from Shopjimmy.com
it took a month to arrive, when i installed it i was disappointed to see it did not
    solve the issue.

looking for more info i read that there are a lot of issues with the Y-Main or Y-sus board.
so i disconnected the Y-main board. the TV turned on without clicking but there was no Video or sound.

i went and ordered the Y-main board, replaced, and NADA! same issue.

frustrated and 150$ short i turn to you for salvation.

Download the service manual from here: http://elektrotanya.com/samsung_ps42.../download.html

      Open the pdf "wiring diagram".

Verify the voltages at the connectors indicated in the document.
      Post the results here.

As for your boards, since they are ok you can still sell them on ebay (not right away though).

Xmain failure pretty common. Xmain is powered from the ymain. I needed X & y to get a C450 going. Most replace x, y & buffers all at once. My x eneded up blowing the Y, buffer was ok. there was a firmware upgrade available for mine , suspect probably same firmware for the c430.

how to tell if its the x-main or y-main or y-buffers?
          i currently don't have a multimeter.
if i disconnect the x-main what should i see?
if its the buffers how do i know?
is there a way without checking volts?

how can i know if the new y-main board i have is still ok?
