Hi Hi everyone,
First of all. I am very new to this stuff and this forum!
I gave myself a fun project by fixing a 'broken' Samsung TV. Only I'm running into a dilemma. I removed the back cover of my Samsung TV and immediately looked up the first YouTube video that could possibly help me.
The video explained how to check if the backlight was broken or other things. Now I followed these steps exactly as in the video but I don't get much wiser from it. (I think because of my little experience with these kinds of projects).
The moment I turn on the TV you see it light up very briefly and then it actually goes off immediately. After I remove the cable between the Power Source and the Main board you see the TV turn on. And then light up as every TV should actually turn on. (In one photo you can clearly see it burning (this is when it only runs with the power unit, and in the other photo you see it burning very slightly)
My suspicion was that 1 of those 2 white cables was the problem so I replaced it. However, the problem was still not solved after that.
By searching further on the internet my suspicions are confirmed a bit more, namely that the Main Board is broken. Because the backlight does burn completely with only the power unit and not when everything is originally assembled.
Yesterday i just replaced the mainboard but this doesn't change anything. First it turned on like it used to be. But then it goes back to the thing he already did....
Can anybody help me?
