    lgpdp42v6001 lasma black lis defective

    hello i have this plasma lgpdp42v6 with next defect two black lines ! thanks

    Could be cold solder joints on the X-driver connectors, they run along the bottom edge of the plasma display panel.

        If that is not the cause, there is a good chance it is the plasma panel, which is not economical to repair, sorry.

                  You cannot change the COFs. They are bonded to the plasma glass.
                  If the 10 ohm resistors are open circuit, that indicates the COF has probably failed.

                    so far every one of those i have seen with lines like that were just cracked solder on the x ribbon cables.iirc there are 2 resistors on each that get cracked joints.
                    all the ones i have repaired are still running too.fairly common.
