    Sony KV-36HS500

    Hi all.

    I'm getting the infamous 6 red blinks error on my TV with no picture and no sound. I hear its the MCZ3001D or MCZ3001DBs 18 pin IC sockets. If anyone can vouch for this and/or has a schematic of pics of where these are I'd be very appreciative.

    I looked for this topic as an existing thread, but did not see it. If it exist Ill go to that thread, feel free to point me in the right direction.

    To be more accurate, I have found a few post about this topic, but none with solid view of which sockets are at fault and the like. Ill keep looking. Thanks to anyone who takes the time to read this.

      Ok...found them. I also see a cap that is bulged a bit. 2822W is the number on the side of it. Can this be the cause of the 6 blink error, or is this another problem I need to fix?
