    Plasma LG 60PG30 - HDMI 2 & 3 Problem

    Hi,

I recently noticed that if I hook a video source directly to either HDMI 2 or 3 of the TV that the screen will blink randomly - maybe 5 to 10 times a minute.
The HDMI 1 input is fine with no blinking.

Is there anything obvious that would cause this? Is HDMI 1 on a different board than 2 & 3? I don't have the back of the TV off at the moment and the pic below is from when I had to replace the Y board for another problem (missing the bottom 4" of picture).

    Thanks for any insight.

    Re: Plasma LG 60PG30 - HDMI 2 & 3 Problem

Try updating the firmware if possible. I had this issue on a LG 55 inch LCD and if I disconnected all the other components especially if you're using a component input also and only HDMI 2 or 3 being used the problem disappeared as soon as I updated the firmware problem solved
Did I leave the soldering iron on?

Problem with LG Plasma 60PM6700 - Random power downs
      by theone111
I have an LG Plasma TV 60PM6700 for the past ~12 years.

In the last ~3-4 months I have been having some issues.
      1. Problem: It started with random picture disappearing (sound still worked).
Frequency: Happened about once a week.
Solution: Had to turn off TV wait a few seconds before turning it on again.
      2. Problem: Then it got worse and the TV started to shut down and when turning on the no picture just sound.
Frequency: Happened about once a week.
Solution: Had to turn off TV wait about 10-20 seconds and turn it on again to solve.
      3. Problem: TV shuts down

Onkyo TX-SR607 HDMI problem showing a black screen intermittently
      by redwire
Onkyo TX-SR607 HDMI problem showing a black screen intermittently, audio was OK.
It would usually cut out a few minutes after power on, for maybe 1 minute then work OK, then cut out and go to black again. Or fade out to sparkles and noisy video.

Well known is these boards need recapping and there is a strange mix of parts on both sides of the board.

      The bottom of the board has 100uF 4V (5.3*5.3mm, qty 5) and 220uF 4V (6.6*6.6mm, qty 5).
Per the service bulletin, an issue is the Toshiba LDO's want low ESR for stability so I went with 100uF 6.3V polymer...

panasonic TH-42PC77U plasma television half screen problem
      by renech
      hello,
I hope someone on this forum can assist me.
      I have a panasonic TH-42PC77U plasma television.
the lower 1/2 of the screen has become flaky....in and out, then finally goes black and you can only see the top portion.
i have performed the reset to default settings quite a few times. Panasonic recommended..did not believe this would help...it didn't.
I have removed the back panel and looked around for something obvious...burn marks in a board, etc....nothing obvious...
I have read some posts that suggest the problem is related to the boards on the left...

      Thinkpad X1 Carbon "LMQ-1MB 12298-2 48.4LY26.021" VCC3M problem

      i have a problem with thinkpad X1 carbon gen 2 "LMQ-1MB 12298-2 48.4LY26.021"
The laptop was turned off because the MOSFET was not transmitting voltage. After checking it turned out that the gate pin on the MOSFET was the problem, because it was producing an inappropriate voltage. and it was discovered that the problem was with the Think engine, so I decided to reprint each pin, and finally the mosfet could work properly. However, there is another problem, even though the voltage has been supplied to the laptop, it still won't turn on, there isn't even an LED indicator. After double...

      Epson EB-S03 Hdmi Problem
      by falcontech
      Good afternoon
I have the hdmi input of an Epson EB-S03 projector that does not work, in the attached photos there is the card which is a H550M_R1, I read somewhere that replacing the eprom circled in red solves the problem and among others things does not need software, just replace it, the eprom is a tssop 24c02, has anyone ever dealt with this type of repair? Thank you...
