I buy my TVs and I pay people to bring them to me. There is no way I can do it all on my own. I can't go looking for them and fix them to so I just hired a bunch of people to do it for me. It has been working out pretty good for me.

Neither one of those numbers match what I have. I am curious as to why you asked? It seems maybe I could have fixed one of these but I didn't want to bother with it because the chances of succeeding might be too low. I have included pictures of the Panel stickers.

Thanks Shane711; i ask because i have here a Sony KDL46S4100 that i fixed by replacing F1 on the Tcon board, and after fixing it, i was disappointing cause i have a bad panel assembly,and since i heard Samsung at one time built LCD Screen panels for Sony,i thought maybe there is a Samsung model# with a 46" panel.
Since i can't find a 46 KDL with a reasonable price,there is a couple on Amazon but 400 /500 price range is off the chart.
check bellow text of all of these Sony KDL models that have same Panel assembly.
bellow is the pics of my bad panel, when i put metal frame it's wider stripe, when i
remove Metal frame is thinner stripe,but i have to reboot tv every time i remove Metal frame for it to change from wide to thin stripe.Also i tried to press down any of the ribbon connections but there's not even a sign of any change.

I believe someone will get upset if we do not stick to the topic which is ( Samsung LN46B640R3FXZA ) but if you want you can send me a private message. I will look to see if I have that panel.

As far as the 2 Samsung TVs LN46B640R3FXZA and LN46B610A5FXZA, I have disassembled them and saved the good parts. Maybe I will find another with a good screen and be able to save that one.

Well sorry for the intermission but i thought that your issue was over since it's a bad panel and for that no solution but replace panel,same issue as mine.
