As per title, I've had this before with an M87 and a new main board cured it, I think it's the same here but before I invest in a replacement board, does anyone have any knowledge on what might cause this to happen? thanks, Andy.

Try heating up the main board with a hair dryer, you may find that it is thermally sensitive and cuts out sooner. Which means the main board is bad.

It's a good idea, any ideas on the cause, someone has hinted that it could be a bad PSU but I disagree, the fact that it powers up normally and stays stable albeit for only 10 minutes would suggest it's fine in my mind, to elaborate further on the HDMI issue, after about 5 minutes of being on, if a cable is connected it will cut out straight away, I haven't as yet tried it from cold but will do later on and let you know. It's a strange one, it's almost like it's causing some kind of short, why I don't know.

I would not expect the PSU to cause this issue, if that helps.

Just to be clear, have you tried other inputs? Is it cutting off after 10 minutes because it hasn't detected an input?

Oh it's definitely faulty, as soon as an HDMI lead is connected it clicks off with the back light going just a little mad and then resumes the usual on/off scenario, with the HDMI removed after this event I get no picture, no menu and will of course switch on and off. I'd have to agree with Tom66, it needs a new main board.

mate its the main board that's at fault
when tv is on feel the silicone chip the big one if its not covered with tin shield you will find it wil be red hot

I never questioned if it has a bad main. I'm trying to help you figure out what's wrong with the main board.
