Re: Toshiba 32av733g1 power supply problem
Hey Guys..
Sorry to dig this one up from the grave... but..
I've got an 32CV700A and is suffering a similar issue(s).. but power Cycling on/off after turning it self on..
How it started: Short story.. Watching a video on a sony blu-ray via HDMI 1/ Regza smart link-thingy- option was enabled as I like the self power on/off feature..
Sound starting braking up for 10-15 seconds then bam!!.. no video/ No Input message on screen.. kids' freaked out.. !! NO TV....
TV not responding to remote at all and its started power cycling.. and occasionally getting to show HDMI 1 then , black screen and repeat..
Green LED turns on once AC power applied (never shows RED LED) but if you're Quick you can get the remote to put it into stdby mode. RED LED..
Checked for the obvious caps etc..most other components check out ok.. diaode, NPN's PNP's etc.. no shorted caps .. no signs of heat or combustion.. just a tiny amount of PCB dis-colouration around the A6069 IC..
checked caps around the A6069 IC in accordance with this forum thread http://forums.toshiba.com/t5/Televis.../201752/page/2.
Any hints guys ? Mainboard rooted ?
