I have acquired a SpectronIQ PLTV-4250... same as Protron PLTV-4250... been looking for a Service Manual or Schematic... no luck.. apparently this set is a real turd.. (guess they all are when they are broke huh?) The set powers on, but it makes a screeching noise from the speakers and has some screen distortion now.. found a couple bulging caps on the power supply board... I plan to replace all the caps`anyway... but i suspect the screeching is coming from the mainboard... anyway, if anyone knows where i can get a service manual/schematic or has any experience with this unit.. I'd appreciate any input... looks like most of these met their demise when the PSU caps went... don't think many lasted long enough to develop other issues.. I'd like to try to save it to use in the garage/shop..
