Samsung HL-S5687w DLP turning off randomly

    Samsung HL-S5687w DLP turning off randomly

    Was given this dlp by a neighbor about to throw it away. Said he put new bulb in it, and also wired the two wires together that went on the lamp door micro switch. Turned on tv and it shut off, after three tries it played a movie for 45min. Then turned it off and it wouldnt come back on but for approx 5-10 seconds and lamp would go out and all 3 lights on front display would flash.
    What do you think it could be.
