Hi Guys,

Does anyone know where I can buy a T-Con for a TOSHIBA 46RV555D. I have tried a few TV part online shops and no joy. The part number on the T-Con is:

4046FM1M4C6L V0.2

I don't know if this is helpful but searching Shopjimmy shows it as a Samsung TCon

LJ94-02586E , Panel Sticker Number LTA460HF02

Don't know much about TCONs as to whether there'd be any firmware which stops swapping between brands??

How's your CZECH?

I can't help you. This is the second Toshiba model I've searched for in two days that has what seems like no support. It's almost like Toshiba is building these things NOT to be repairable.

On a side note, I don't know if it's true or not, but I read that Toshiba manufactures their TVs in China and that there is little to no support for Chinese manufactured TVs. Again, I don't know if it's true. I would have guessed that most TVs were made in China nowadays.

Toshiba's premium TVs like RV are Polish-made, ex-UK manufacturing. Parts are available, but more or less only for authorised service personnel. Their lesser series (BV, DV, KV, SV, and others) are Vestel made, in Turkey, and Chinese made by a number of OEMs.

Hi Guys,

The link to the CZ site is the same one as in my TV with the same panel number. One company in the UK EMOS had one a month ago! I have translated the page into English and they want 45 euros about £39.00, not sure on shipping yet.

Thank you all for the help, this is the TV Tom that you helped with and you suggested T-Con as main possibilty.

Don't even get me started on CHS's crazy prices... they have 32" LCD mainboards for £500+... who is going to pay that??

I don't know what their business is like but I tried to source OEM components for my SC board from them. Not even a reply which really annoys me. They have them, no one seems interested in international sales. Given up, Gone chinese, hopefully don't end up fake.

OMG!!! How on earth can that company charge that much for a part that other tend to sell for between £30-£60.

Daylight robbery, bet they dont sell much.

Hi Guys,

Ordered the part from the CZ company should arrive it 4 days, will let you know if it fixes the fault or not. Fingers crossed that TOM66 thoughts are correct I am sure they will be.
