possible TV purchase Samsung 55 inch LED 6000 series

hi Everyone, I'm looking at a possible purchase of a samsung 55 inch LED. unfortunately I'm mobile right now I cannot upload a picture yet.

the screen has a area about 4 inches tall that runs all the way across at the top of the screen. it sometimes has a slight yellow haze to it. you can still see the picture but it's a light Haze.

I will post a picture as soon as I can. I'm wondering if this is an issue with the panel or something else?

It's very likely the panel.

If it's a full LED screen I'd say it could be a cluster of LEDs, if they were RGB...

thanks Tom, I was hoping it was a good panel! Because I have the exact same television
with a busted screen. I will post a picture when I get home just in case

Whilst Vizio TVs seem to be decently built (good caps, Delta power supplies, clean layout), they have far too many software issues with main boards at the moment which kill the TVs. If they fixed them, they would rank above Samsung, IMO.
