LG 42PQ30-UA plasma 2009, red/green/blue pixels

So my plasma is really exagerating the green and reds, also when the screen is black (between channels) it shows blue blotches with green sparkles. Also on a regular channel the same blotch shows up as a transparent white burn.

When I goto the menu the menu images are intermitten with being just fine to as like the rest of the screen problems.

I can still watch the tv as its not a bad on some channels (only using antenna signal).

This is a issue I would like to tackle myself. Can someone let me know what steps I can take to fix it?

Can you show us a picture? Does the problem affect the menu interfaces, as well?

the issue is most likely the main board. I just got the same model 42pq30 for $40 main failed. I'm using a 50pq30 board in it after I change the eprom's ic204 & 201 so the screen is the correct size.
this is all I can guess without pic or voltage test of the power supply etc as the voltage can be off by 2 volts and mal discharge. or if your lucky a cap not me 1 in 50 odds
