Samsung T200HD Lcd tv goes fuzzy when i switch to hdmi output

    hi there,

i am fairly new here so i apoligize in advance if this is in the wrong section.

The problem is when I try to switch over to any output such as my hdmi hooked up to my Xbox, the screen goes fuzzy with a lot of lines going through the screen as if something is loose, I haven't touched/tampered with the TV at all and this has only started to happen recently, I have also tried some thing such as changing the wall socket I connect the tv to and trying a different hdmi cable but none of this seems to work.

Thanks for any help/advice in advance

Is this only happening with hdmi? Have you had any power surges recently? Black outs brown outs?
Did I leave the soldering iron on?

Does this also happen with any other HDMI devices such as a PS3 or Blu-Ray?

this happens with all input device i try to change it, i have got freeview which was bulit in from the factory and that is the only thing which seems to not do this, but if i try to change over to my xbox ( hdmi lead ) or ipad the problem still seems to be there

But is the hdmi ports the only ports on the tv with this problem? As in does the tuner or composite or component input ports seem to do this also? Because if it is just the hdmi ports I have seen this before.
Now you me run freeview. is this integrated into the tv already? Does not connect via hdmi? If its just hdmi doing this I would suspect a faulty hdmi controller on the mainboard of the tv. Look at all the hdmi ports to see if you have any bent pins on the tv to start with.

No i have two Hmdi ports and components, it happens to both as well. Put it this way, anything extra which i try to connect to the tv for example dvd player, xbox, ipad and so on i get this fuzzy screen thingy. i've tried buying a new hdmi lead & components and that didnt work, i checked the pins and they are fine not bent at all. yes the freeview is integrated into the tv. could it be a faulty hdmi and component on the mainboard? however im baffle on how they can just go just like that.

Im going to take it to the Electronics shop tomorrow anyway and see what they say, i just wanted to ask on here first incase the problem was an easy fix.
