Main board fault probably (seen it before here)... some of the boards for these tellies are made of unobtanium so take that into account. Could be T-con too.

I thought £25 but he's now saying £50

Not worth it just for a 720p 32". I would only be able to sell that for about £100 anyway. When you add main board or t-con cost there's not much profit. There are plenty more though.
