Hi everyone
So I see this monster tv at the dump, plug it in and the error codes tell me the light is gone, go home and check, $ 400 installed up here, I can see why a consumer would toss it, so I get it home and find out the light is fine but the color wheel has disintegrated, so i order a new one and while I am waiting for it I clean it up, throw some nice new(well salvaged) speakers in it and get it ready for some gaming action, or a computer monitor.
Light wheel comes and I install it, power it up and works fine except for these lines in the picture, these 2 pics show them the color is fine just a bad pic. lines move around a bit, i turned the PIP on and the 2nd screen didn't have them but when I went to take a pic it was doing it in both screens.
Any ideas would be appreciated
