Dell W2306C No 5 volt standby dead

I've got this tv in my shop and it won't power up. Well I checked the connector leading to the logic board to find no 5vs on the orange wire. I downloaded the service manual and gave it a look and I found IC 903 pin 5 no voltage VCC1 is dead and I cant figure out where VCC1 originates. The IC 903 needs I think 12 to 15 volts on pin 5 to start vibrating the 5 volt xformer

You are making good progress. Usually the voltage comes through a high value resistor or resistors from the rectified mains voltage. I've given up trying to identify possible candidates, the flash glare obscures too much of the board.

For a number of reasons, both health and personal, I will no longer be active on this board. Any PMs asking for assistance will be ignored.

Problem solved, I somehow ended rechecking pin 5 again to find 9volts dc and 21.5 volts ac present and there ain't suppose to be any ac there IU fond a 1n4003 diode in series from pin 5 IC 903 to the xformer leaking. I replaced the diode and the set powered up nicely. A happy ending and no boards to be purchased to fix this tv!

Zombie Samsung UN55NU6900F dead / no standby voltage - randomly came to life after hours of troubleshooting then died
        by tvguy12012012120
This is my first attempt at troubleshooting a board like this, I know I could just buy a new board but I'm curious to figure out how this works. I've been testing different components in the evenings this week and I think the problem is with the IC failing to start up for some reason. When the board is plugged in there is no standby voltage.

Then today it randomly sprung to life like a zombie but shortly died thereafter. I have no idea why it would have done that and its the first time I've seen it running. I discharged capacitors on the board last night, then it was sitting today....

Dell E6400 PT434 type Battery Charging Stuck at 1%. Battery Pinouts?
        by Bowline
My question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?

Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the inside of a Dell PT434 battery and/or a description of how the control lines work to control this battery?

My reason for asking is I have a battery which I cannot get to charge beyond 1% in a Dell E6410 or E6400.
The LED bar graph charge indicator on the battery shows one LED lighted when the info button is pressed.
I have tried multiple different Dell power adapters. My Dell...

Greetings to all, a while ago my TV was dead, it didn't turn on and the standby light was off, the next day it is working. But these days it no longer wants to turn on, I did some troubleshooting, I disconnected the main board, I checked the voltage on the backlight and there is 400 DC, when I connect it again the main board the voltage drops, in all that troubleshooting, miraculously the standby light comes on and the TV works. After an hour I check and test, I turn on the TV, the Stanby light flashes 3 times and it...
