      The buffer boards on these models are heat sinked and have held up pretty well.

      I would go after the y driver board. as this is about a 2007 year tv.

      There is also a ribbon push in cable that gets messed up when changing the board.
      (last one on the right side of the y board going into the controller logic board)

      It`s the fourth connector down in your picture of the y board.

        I have a simular problem on my set, I have ordered in 6 replacement fqb46n15 that are present on the buffer boards, the 3 small mosfets on each board, 1 had a short in one.and another one was suspect so I'll change the lot and hope that works.
