    Toshiba LCD Wont turn on

    I've had this tv for about 2 years and never had a single problem with it until yesterday. Tried to turn it by remote but couldnt. Thought it was the remote or the battery. It wasnt. I tried to unplug the outlet and try again. Didnt work so i tried to power on manually with the button on the side. Didnt work either. What is wrong with my tv?
    A few days ago, my electricity went out and my dad tried to fix the thing by wiggling the wire. He did this multiple time (4-6 blacks out in 2 days) and it made the power source went on and off during his attempts. Could this possibly messed up my tv?

      What wire was he wiggling? Main power wire? If so, dont wiggle it anymore. This TV needs to be fixed or it can cause a fire due to a broken wire. Sounds fixable, not hard but have someone fix it that knows what they're doing.

          not sure if you misunderstood. My dad was wiggling the wire for the electricity not the TV. We havnt touched the TV yet since we have no idea what we're doing. Do bestbuy or any other electronic retailers fix TVs? or i gotta go to a local shop?

                      Because you say "we don't know what we are doing" I strongly urge that you get a professional to do it for you.
